Planned Activities of the Foundation

A. Build a non-profit AFRICANCER INSTITUTE AND CLINIC in Nigeria.

The Foundation seeks to help develop a cancer campus in Nigeria as its first project in sub-Sahara Africa, for the delivery of sustainable effective cancer services. Services will include but are not limited to: education, prevention, epidemiology, statistics, early diagnoses, treatment, and palliative care to all who need such services.

B. AFRICANCER SATELLITE CLINICS in Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa.

The Samuel A. Enumah Africancer Foundation will be part of national and international cancer organization that have committed themselves to the task of making a sustainable contribution to cancer control in sub-Saharan Africa. Our proposed new paradigm of clinic-based gateways for total cancer control in all facilities we plan to establish will play a key role for prevention and early detection of most common cancers. Such methodology will bring sustainable reduction in cancer morbidity and mortality.

C. Samuel A. Enumah AFRICANCER FOUNDATION MEDICAL EQUIPMENT Program.

We seek to provide oncologic diagnostic and treatment medical equipment /Chemotherapy drugs to medical institutions in sub-Saharan African nations that are also are engaged in cancers services to all regardless of their ability to pay.

D. Samuel A. Enumah AFRICANCER FOUNDATION ONCOLOGY VOLUNTEER Healthcare Services.

We strive to to assemble team of medical/surgical oncologists, Radiologists, oncologic nurses, medical technologists and other medical personnel interested in volunteer missions for trips to our Africancer Institutes and clinics and other sub-Saharan nations for cancer control services. *to obtain on-site information on the burden of cancer and on its control in all regions in sub-Saharan Africa.

E. Samuel A. Enumah AFRICANCER FOUNDATION Training AND FELLOWSHIP in Oncology

We hope to provide platform a for fellowship training for the physicians, nurses, medical technologists interested in oncologic services.

F. Samuel A. Enumah AFRICANCER FOUNDATION AFRICANCERLINK.

A free education/database service on cancer in sub-Saharan Africa. We seek to disseminate information on practical sustainable programs on cancer education/ prevention and early cancer detection to sub-Saharan Africans, oncologic healthcare workers and organizations working to improve the health and alleviate suffering of cancer patients.
